Pre-College Program
Stanford University's Pre-College summer program is a transformative experience for young people between the ages of 14 and 17 who are grappling with questions about their future. The program is designed to help students find answers to these questions and guide them towards a path of personal and intellectual growth. Not only does the program provide a challenging academic curriculum, but it also celebrates cultural diversity and fosters students' ability to think critically and consider issues from multiple perspectives.
At Gurun Academy, we are proud to be the official representative of Stanford University's Pre-College summer program in Mongolia. In 2019, a select group of 12 Mongolian students had the opportunity to embark on a 14-day journey to study at Stanford University, accompanied by esteemed educators from our institution. This immersive academic experience offered unparalleled opportunities for personal and intellectual growth, as well as the chance to form meaningful connections with over 300 peers from more than 20 countries. Students not only engaged in rigorous coursework, but also had the privilege of exploring the vibrant city of San Francisco, further enhancing their cultural and educational experience.
